It’s pride month, and Get Licked is psyched to welcome four guest educators to teach on intersectional experiences and kink. From trans intimacy to Black feminism to chronic disability, this class lineup examines the personal and practical aspects of exploring kink and sexuality in marginalized bodies. This series is great for people who:
are passionate about kink culture, history, and perspectives
share these identities and want resources and expertise
are partners and allies and want to learn more about others’ experiences
staff kink events or organizations and want to show up better for marginalized community members
These four classes work great together or separately. You get a discount when you register for all three. Please note: Pricing for these classes includes a “solidarity” tier intended for folks who identify as BIPOC, trans, chronically disabled, and/or working class, and two “ally” tiers to encourage other folks to contribute more. This helps make sure all instructors are paid fairly for their work, while folks most in need of these classes are better able to afford them.

Womanism in BDSM & Leather — with Akasha Eden
Sunday June 8 at 7–9pm ET / 4–6pm PT
This class explores the spiritual, political, and cultural contributions of womanist thought — a feminist movement centering the experiences of Black women — to BDSM and Leather communities. Grounded in Black femme diasporic tradition, Akasha examines how womanism informs core elements of BDSM and Leather traditions, sharing her own scholarship and lived experiences as well as those of well-known womanist thinkers. You’ll leave this class engaged, informed, and with a deeper understanding of both womanism and what it is that we do as kinky folk.
Akasha Eden (she/they) is a Leatherwoman, griot, event curator, and Leather community servant whose work blends spirituality, mental health advocacy, and academic rigor. Rooted in Black femme resilience, Akasha teaches and presents in hopes of helping community members discover joy, embodiment, and systems navigation in Leather, kink, BDSM, and WIITWD.

Hands, Holes, & Hearts: Intimacy with Trans People — with Dio & Puy
Sunday June 15 at 7–9pm ET / 4–6pm PT
Are you getting used to getting it on in (or with) a transitioning body? Wondering what to expect post-surgery or hormones? Crushing on a special trans someone, but too nervous to make a move? A transfem and a transmasc educator are teaming up to discuss everything you need to know but don’t know who to ask, from scar tissue and sensitivity to hot, respectful language. Whether you’re trans, cis, or somewhere in between, you’re welcome to attend; all we ask is that you bring genuine, respectful questions and an open mind.
Dio (they/he) is a trans leatherqueer, switch, and educator in the Hudson Valley, New York. They use their professional background in teaching and violence prevention to create safe, accessible kink community spaces — including Hudson Valley Kennel Club and Hudson Valley Dyke Night — and have taught and demoed at over a dozen kink events across the Northeast U.S.
Puy (she/her) is a nursing student, erotic hypnotist, educator, and switchy weirdo in the Hudson Valley, New York. When she’s not playing or teaching, you can find her making music or playing Magic: The Gathering.

Chronically Kinky — with Pup Star Orion
Sunday June 22 at 7–9pm ET / 4–6pm PT
Sexual ableism runs deep in our culture, so it’s no surprise that it shows up in the Leather and kink communities. How can we recognize it, challenge it, and pave the way for a more inclusive and empowering space? This class is designed to uplift and empower disabled players. Non-disabled players, educators, and organizers attending this class: Your role is to listen, learn, and ask intentional and respectful questions, all within the framework of centering disability.
Pup Star Orion (he/him) is an educator, event organizer, lifestyle switch, zine maker, International Puppy 2025, and loud pervert. Believing community is an action, Orion has dedicated his time in the greater kink world to breaking down barriers and building up players on the margins.

What to Expect:
All virtual classes are live on Zoom. You’ll receive everything you need via email as soon as you register. Most are two hours long, including time for Q&A. Can’t make the class time? Classes will be recorded, so if you can’t attend live, you can still get all the info, as long as you register before the class starts. I hope to offer recorded classes a la carte at some point, but they’re not available yet!
Get Licked! is for everyone: queer, straight, trans, cis, binary, non, monogamous, polyamorous, kinky, vanilla, and all other folks are welcome. Be kind to each other and help each other learn. We are here in community.
Many classes include activities to help you grasp material and build skills. Participation is encouraged, but never required. Listen to your body, and do what feels good for you.
